The third single from Demon Days was the first heard by most people, having surfaced at the start of 2005 on blank white label vinyl. However it received the full on treatment for its full release, with a promo video set in the desert.

The live version of All Alone on CD1 is taken from the band's "Demon Detour" of US radio stations in June 2005. Hongkongaton was recorded in part in Hong Kong and then finished in the UK with producer Danger Mouse, and features a guest appearance from Gorillaz photographer Jamie Hewlett. The video for Dirty Harry features guest rapper Bootie Brown.

Charts

Dirty Harry reached a peak of #6 on the UK singles chart, remaining in the top 75 for well over 3 months.
