Charts

Feel Good Inc gained much notoriety for taking advantage of new chart rules for downloads in early 2005. Having snuck a few early copies of the 7" into the shops, early download sales of the track then counted toward a chart position and the track debuted on the top 40 countdown at #22, four weeks in advance of the commercial single's actual release date.

Indeed, Gorillaz have experienced their widest chart success to date with Feel Good Inc. The track became a top 20 hit in the USA on the Billboard Hot 100 chart (including over a month at #1 on the Modern Rock chart), and was still in the UK top 10 three months after it first made the weekly countdown. Gorillaz' biggest hit to date's highest chart placing? #2.
